Johnny Marr Compares Pro-Brexit Campaign to Nazis

On June 23, United Kingdom residents will head to the polls to vote on whether the UK should exit the European Union. The “Brexit” issue has become steadily contentious as the vote approaches. Today, Johnny Marr tweeted a comparison of an advertisement used by pro-Brexit politician Nigel Farage (leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party) to footage from a Nazi propaganda film. Marr then engaged with several users over the comparison.
