Jonny Greenwood Shares Inherent Vice Track “Spooks” Written by Radiohead and Featuring Joanna Newsom, Supergrass Members

Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood composed the score for Inherent Vice, the upcoming Paul Thomas Anderson movie based off the Thomas Pynchon novel. Back in October, it was reported that a song written by Radiohead—but performed by members of Supergrass—would appear on the movie’s soundtrack. Now, Greenwood has shared “Spooks”, which was performed by him and Supergrass members Gaz Coombes and Danny Goffey, and features spoken word from Joanna Newsom (who also narrated Inherent Vice). Inherent Vice is out this Friday, December 12, in select cities, and gets a wide release on January 9. The soundtrack for the film will be released on December 15 via Nonesuch.
