Justin Timberlake's Label Sued Over "Suit & Tie"

Justin Timberlake‘s label, Universal Music Group, is being sued over his 2013 hit “Suit & Tie,” as TMZ reports. The lawsuit concerns a sample of Sly, Slick & Wicked‘s “Sho’ Nuff,” a 1973 song produced by James Brown. Two members of the group say UMG paid to sample the song, but didn’t get the rights to the vocal performances. They also claim that UMG owes them money from a Bud Light ad that used “Suit & Tie.”
