Kanye Debuting Art Installation at Charity Event

On July 30 at the Watermill Center in the Hamptons, Kanye West will perform at the Center’s annual summer charity event and auction, The New York Times reports. He will also debut an art installation made in collaboration with the artist Robert Wilson. Wilson is best known as the director of Philip Glass’ Einstein on the Beach; he has also collaborated Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson, David Byrne, Tom Waits, and others.

The name of the Watermill Center event this year is “FADA: House of Madness,” (in reference to Le Corbusier’s La Maison du Fada) and it’s the 23rd edition the charity event. It will also feature sound installations and a performance from Anohni, a performance from Pussy Riot, and works and performances from the arts collective the Bruce High Quality Foundation called “As We Lay Dying.” You can find more information at the Watermill Center’s website
