Kanye Hosting “Famous” Video Premiere Event

Kanye Hosting “Famous” Video Premiere Event

When Kanye West unveiled his new album The Life of Pablo, he hosted a massive event at Madison Square Garden that was part listening party, part fashion show, and part performance art piece. On Friday at 10 p.m. Eastern, he’s throwing another big event. This time, he’s unveiling the visuals for his single “Famous.” It happens at the Forum in Los Angeles. Like the Madison Square Garden event, it’s set to stream live on Tidal. Representatives confirm that Kanye will be there, but will not be performing. The “Famous” video will be available as a Tidal exclusive for one week. Tickets for the event go on sale tomorrow.

“Famous,” of course, was subject to some controversy due to its references to Taylor Swift. Swift’s camp released a statement denouncing the song, but Kanye and Kim Kardashian claimed that Taylor gave her blessing.

Kanye recently announced the Saint Pablo Tour and updated The Life of Pablo once again with the new track “Saint Pablo.”
