Kanye West 2016 Tour Announcement Seems Imminent

Kanye West seems to be gearing up to announce a tour in support of The Life of Pablo. In addition to previously announced sets at Governors Ball and a festival in Manila, two U.S. dates have been revealed by radio stations. In a since-deleted tweet from Wednesday, JAM’N 107.5 in Portland announced that Kanye will be performing at the MODA Center in Portland on July 8. Today, DJ Ryan Cameron of Atlanta’s V103 revealed that he’ll play Atlanta’s Phillips Arena on August 5:

The Saint Pablo tour is coming August 5, to PHILLIPS arena so guess who has them now? This guy! @kanyewest tix before 8!

This would be Kanye’s first tour since 2014 and will mark his first proper live shows since his Saturday Night Live appearance with Chance the Rapper, Kirk Franklin, The-Dream and Kelly Price.

West debuted his album and the latest Yeezy line at Madison Square Garden in February. This month, he updated The Life of Pablo and held a weekend-long Pablo pop-up shop in New York City that allegedly sold $1 million worth of clothing while it was open. Kanye also says he’s putting out three albums this year, including one called Turbo Grafx 16.
