Kanye West, Bruce Springsteen, Chris Martin, U2 Perform Surprise Times Square Concert

U2 are performing a surprise show in New York City as part of World AIDS Day. Actually, “U2 Minus 1″ will perform (Bono has been sidelined from his recent bike accident injury) with Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay‘s Chris Martin. Kanye West and Carrie Underwood are also set to perform. It’s happening right now; watch it below. Update: Watch the archived video of the performance below.

Kanye did “Power”, “Jesus Walks”, “Black Skinhead”, “Stronger”, and “Touch the Sky”. Fronted by Springsteen, U2 did “Where the Streets Have No Name” and “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”. With Martin, they performed “Beautiful Day” and “With or Without You”. There were also speeches from Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. 

The show was presented by Bono’s organization (RED) and took place at Duffy Square in Times Square (Broadway between 46th & 47th Streets).
