Kanye West: “Kid Cudi Is My Brother”

Last week, Kid Cudi took to Twitter to send stray shots at Drake and longtime collaborator Kanye West. “Everyone thinks they’re soooo great. Talkin top 5 and be having 30 people write songs for them,” he said before adding, “My tweets apply to who they apply. ‘Ye, Drake, whoever. These niggas dont give a fuck about me. And they aint fuckin with me.” Kanye and Drake both responded at their respective shows that night. Kanye went on at length, saying, “I’m so hurt. I feel so disrespected,” and “Don’t never mention ’Ye name. I birthed you.”

Tonight during his show at Houston’s Toyota Center, Kanye took a moment during his set to preach a message of peace and admiration. “I just wanted to take time out to say Kid Cudi is my brother,” he said, calling him “the most influential artist of the past 10 years, and I hope he’s doing well.” Watch that happen below.
