Kanye West Says Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz Collaboration Dropping Friday

This morning, Kanye West tweeted that a “new project” with Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz will be released this Friday. He also attached a piece of art showing 2 Chainz wearing Wayne’s tattoos. Find that below.

The photo bears a resemblance to Yasiin Bey (Mos Def)’s Black on Both Sides cover.
Wayne and 2 Chainz have been teasing Collegrove, a collaborative project. In February, they debuted “Rolls Royce Weather Everyday” on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Revisit that below.
Last night, Kanye also tweeted a photo of a laptop showing an open window for the YouTube audio of Sufjan Stevens‘ “Death With Dignity” from last year’s excellent Carrie & Lowell. A closer look at the laptop revealed open tabs for the Pirate Bay, the notorious website that hosts pirated material. Kanye! You’re a co-owner in Tidal. Don’t pirate music. What would Hov say?
