Kanye's "Ellen" Appearance Is a Classic: Watch

Kanye West sat down for a conversation on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” today. After fielding some questions about his family and whether or not he should have a Twitter advisor (“absolutely not”), Kanye embarked on his latest stream-of-consciousness diatribe. He talked about hitting up Mark Zuckerberg for money because he has ideas that can make the world a better place. He noted that he didn’t find anything funny about the lack of diversity among this year’s Oscar nominees. (“‘You get your night, go ahead! Chris Rock’s gonna do it! Bam!’ Talk about how many times you’ve been blocked from being able to excel.”) Then he quoted Rakim’s “I Ain’t No Joke” and praised Phife Dawg. “Picasso is dead,” he said, adding, “Steve Jobs is dead. Walt Disney is dead.” He talked about how he has synesthesia, the importance of having a cool outfit, hanging out with Barack Obama, wanting to “take away bullying,” and wanting to be the “Michael Jackson of apparel.” At the end of the segment, he said, “I’m sorry daytime television. I’m sorry for the realness.”

Amazingly, it didn’t end there. Kanye also joined Ellen for a game called “5 Second Rule” where he had to quickly and succinctly answer a series of questions. The first question: “Give us three things that are hairy.” His answer: “BALLS. BALLS. BALLS.” Watch it all happen below.
