Kendrick Lamar Joins Mistah F.A.B. on New Song "Survive": Listen

Mistah F.A.B. has enlisted Kendrick Lamar for his new Son of a Pimp 2 single “Survive.” The track, which you can hear above (via Rolling Stone), also features Slaughterhouse member Crooked I and Chicago singer Kobe Honeycutt. Speaking about how the track came together, Mistah F.A.B. told Rolling Stone: “I reached out to Kendrick about a year ago like, ‘Yo Cousin, I need you on this record. He said it was no problem and got it to me the next day. Kendrick is hella talented. I just love that the world is embracing him the way that he is because he’s been a star, it’s just that it took a long time for the world to see it. TDE [Top Dawg Entertainment] has such a great situation in how they play off each other and support each other.”

Son of a Pimp 2 is out May 27 on Empire.
