Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Florence and the Machine, Jack White, Beyoncé, Flying Lotus, Tyler the Creator, FKA twigs Nominated for MTV VMAs

The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards will take place on Sunday, August 30 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Today, they announced the nominees. Kendrick Lamar leads the field with thirteen nominations, scoring noms for his “Alright” video as well as his work with Taylor Swift (“Bad Blood”) and Flying Lotus (“Never Catch Me”). Kanye West, Jack White, Florence and the Machine, Flying Lotus, FKA twigs, Tyler, the Creator, A$AP Rocky, the Weeknd, Fetty Wap, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Sia, the Chemical Brothers, Skrillex, Diplo, Arctic Monkeys, and Big Sean also picked up nominations. 

The Video of the Year nominees are Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright”, Beyoncé’s “7/11″, Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar’s “Bad Blood”, Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk”, and Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud”.
