Kendrick Lamar Performs "i", "Pay for It" With Jay Rock on "Saturday Night Live"

Kendrick Lamar was the musical guest on last night’s “Saturday Night Live”, the sixth episode of the 40th season hosted by Woody Harrelson. Earlier this week, he took a piggy-back ride on Harrelson in lieu of public transportation; last night, he performed “i” (while sporting some scary contat lenses), as well as his Jay Rock collab “Pay For It”.  He also appeared as himself a sketch called “Young Tarts & Old Farts”, a fake advertisement for a compilation album of covers between young up-and-comers and established artists (such Ariana Grande with Lionel Richie, Elton John with Blue Ivy Carter, and Aretha Franklin and Robyn); Lamar was paired with Taran Killam’s Barry Manilow.
