Kevin Drew Cancels Tour

Broken Social Scene‘s Kevin Drew has canceled his upcoming tour dates, Brooklyn Vegan reports. The canceled shows included dates with J Mascis and Thurston Moore, though his dates alongside Belle and Sebastian are still on. He wrote on his website:
I am sorry to have to cancel these shows…. There is nothing i like more than playing for people and feeling connected with the ceiling of peoples party smiles….but sometimes the state of before can shut down the anticipation of after. What I mean is….life has happened and i cannot make these dates work anymore. Please, for all those who are disappointed….buy a strobe light and blare DARLINGS in your bedroom.
