Kid Cudi Returns, Performs With Pharrell and Travis Scott: Watch

Last night at ComplexCon, Kid Cudi made his first public appearance since checking into rehab for depression last month. He performed a set of songs that included “Pursuit of Happiness,” “The Frequency,” and “Erase Me.” He also brought out Travis Scott and Pharrell for performances of “Surfin’,” “Through the Late Night,” and “Way Back.” At one point, he screamed, “I LOVE YOU MOTHERFUCKERS!” Watch footage from his set below.

Before today’s performance, Cudi delayed the release of his upcoming album Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ due to sample clearance issues. He’s also had a very public feud with Drake, which Lupe Fiasco recently weighed in on. Big Sean also just addressed Cudi on a new track. (His issues with Kanye appear to have smoothed over.)
