Killer Mike Tells Black Voters to “Stay the Fuck Home” If Leaders Don’t Offer Change On Marijuana, Police Brutality

Yesterday, Killer Mike took to his Instagram to urge black voters in this election cycle to “stay the fuck home” if politicians do not offer tangible change on policy issues such as jobs, decriminalization of marijuana, federal prosecution of police killings, and more. “Get something or give nothing,” the note reads. In the caption, Mike says, “Don’t remain a pasty and pet simply doing what you are told. Get something for your vote or stop complaining and accept your role as a second class citizen once and for all.” Read the full note below.

In the past, Mike has been a vocal proponent of Senator Bernie Sanders and decried both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, saying a vote for either candidate is “the same thing.” Mike criticized Clinton in February after a Black Lives Matter protestor interrupted the candidate’s speech and questioned her political record.
