For the promotion of her recent memoir Girl in a Band, Kim Gordon chatted with a variety of  interviewers on her book tour. On the March 4 stop at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco, Gordon’s interviewer was Sleater-Kinney/”Portlandia”‘s Carrie Brownstein. That hour-long conversation has now been posted online; watch it below. Among other topics, they talked about Instagram, what it’s like to write a book, whether they consider themselves musicians, and the concept of selling out.
