Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper Recruit Coachella Fans to Film A Star Is Born Remake

Last August, it was announced that Lady Gaga would star in a new remake of A Star Is Born, directed by Bradley Cooper. Now, it’s been revealed that Gaga and Cooper are filming scenes for the film at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, where the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival takes place, as the Hollywood Reporter points out. The scenes are set to be filmed on the Coachella stages themselves, and Gaga has invited fans to attend the filming as extras. The scenes will depict a “country western music concert,” so fans are being asked to don appropriate attire (“comfortable denim and boots”). Fans must be 18 or older, and will be asked to pay a $10 fee, with all proceeds going towards Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation. Find more information here.

After headlining Coachella on Saturday night and delivering a set with many of her hits, Gaga also performed and subsequently dropped a new song called “The Cure.”
