Lavender Country Announces First Tour in 40 Years

This spring saw the reissue of the 1973 self-titled album by Lavender Country, which has been cited as the first country album by an openly gay artist, singer/songwriter Patrick Haggerty. (Hear a  highlight, “Cryin’ These Cocksucking Tears”, above.) The string of U.S. dates below marks Lavender Country’s first tour in 40 years. According to a press release, more are forthcoming.
