Les Savy Fav’s Tim Harrington Directs "National Metal Dogs" Videos for VH1 Classic’s "National Metal Day"

Today is “National Metal Day” on VH1 Classic—all metal, all day long. To help promote the day of metal-centric programming, Les Savy Fav‘s Tim Harrington teamed with the internet famous Marnie the Dog to create a series of “National Metal Dogs” shorts. They are, predictably, ridiculous. Watch one below.

Harrington, writer and co-creator of VH1 Classic’s animated shorts “Metal Headzzz”, composed the song in the clip below. Here are the lyrics:

Sniff Cerberus’ butt then mount that hound
Take a bone and stick it in the ground
