Liars Soundtrack New Film 1/1

Pop-Kultur is a Berlin festival that takes place August 31-September 2. Among this year’s acts are Liars, whose members Aaron Hemphill and Angus Andrews will perform the soundtrack to 1/1, a movie that they have scored. The film, directed by Jeremy Phillips, will also premiere at the festival. In addition, Hemphill and Andrews will give a talk prior to the screening about “the idea behind the work and the relation of film and music in general.” See a synopsis for the film, from Pop-Kultur’s listing for the event, below:

Lissa is 20 and lives in rural Pennsylvania, USA. And Lissa is sick of this life, routinely trying to find a bit of distraction in sex and drugs. But when her father dies the young woman recognizes she has hit rock bottom. Before regaining love and hope she still has to come to terms with her mother, though.
