Our First 100 Days is a new subscription compilation that will release one new song each day for the first 100 days of Donald Trump’s presidency. The program starts today with a new Angel Olsen track. It’s called “Fly on Your Wall.” Hear it below, and subscribe to the compilation here.
Our First 100 Days by Angel Olsen
The program has announced a new slate of contributing artists: Ty Segall, Joey Purp, Protomartyr, KAMI, Waxahatchee, and Porches. They join Mitski, Whitney, Toro Y Moi, Will Oldham, the Mountain Goats, How to Dress Well, and more as participating acts.
Our First 100 Days is available at a minimum donation of $30. All proceeds go to organizations that support causes threatened by Trump’s proposed policies: All Above All, Cosecha, Hoosier Action, People’s Climate Movement, and Southerners On New Ground.
Barsuk Records has also announced its own benefit album. It’s called SAD!, and all proceeds go to the American Civil Liberties Union. The seven-track record features Barsuk artists covering songs by other Barsuk artists. Hear it below, and check out Barsuk’s Bandcamp catalog; until the end of the month, all proceeds from the label’s Bandcamp sales will also go to the ACLU.
