Listen to Animal Collective’s ’90s Mix With Beck, Pavement, Guided By Voices

Animal Collective’s Avey Tare and Geologist stopped by Portland radio station XRAY.FM last night, where they took over part of the show “Galaxy My Dear.” Their “Weird ’90s Mix” included Beck’s “Cyanide Breath Mint,” Guided By Voices’ “Chicken Blows,” Pavement’s “Fight This Generation,” Sun City Girls’ “Omani Red Light,” and Thinking Fellers Union Local 282’s “Hive.” There were also tracks from Royal Trux, Silver Jews, the Frogs, Neil Hamburger, and others. Listen to the full show below—their mix begins about 30 minutes in.
