Listen to Flying Lotus’ Mix From the Day J Dilla Passed Away

Ten years ago today, J Dilla passed away at the age of 32. That same day, Flying Lotus spun a live mix for dublab, dedicating it to Dilla. Today, 10 years later, dublab has shared that mix. The hour-long mix includes some of Dilla’s songs, as well as tracks that Dilla sampled for his own music. Listen to Flying Lotus’ 2006 “J Dilla Mix” here.

Last year, Dilla’s mother (Ma Dukes) and Vintage Vibez Music Group released Dillatronic, a 41-track album of rare instrumentals.
