Flying Lotus and Thundercat were the special guests on the most recent episode of Hannibal Buress’ podcast “Handsome Rambler.” During his interview, FlyLo talked about the making of his feature film Kuso, and Thundercat discusses his great new album Drunk. They also spoke about beatmaking, virtual reality, Magic: The Gathering, and more with Buress and podcast co-host Tony Trimm. At one point in the podcast, Buress recalls the time Justin Bieber’s team reached out to him to ask FlyLo if the producer would be interested in doing an official remix—an opportunity that FlyLo firmly turned down. “It would have been tight if he hit me up. I’m like, super easy to get to. That’d make it way different for me.” Listen to the entire 2-hour-long conversation below.

Buress featured in Kuso, and previously appeared as the weather man on Flying Lotus’ radio station in the video game Grand Theft Auto V. FlyLo was also the house DJ on Buress’ short-lived Comedy Central show “Why? with Hannibal Buress.”
