Listen to Iggy Pop’s New Song “Asshole Blues”

Iggy Pop has shared a new, acoustic recording called “Asshole Blues.” It’s set for release Friday on flexi-disc, via Jacuzzi Boys’ Mag Mag label. “I wrote a blues song about an asshole who’s out to get me,” Iggy told Rolling Stone. “It’s full of negative energy. Listen at you own risk. It’s fun to play the blues.” Iggy hasn’t settled down since his last solo LP, the Josh Homme-featuring Post Pop Depression (though he has hinted that would be his last full-length). After its release, he collaborated with Metallica, Danger Mouse, and New Order, as well as announcing a Post Pop Depression live album and concert film.
