Last week, Miguel shared a new song “Cadillac,” which will appear on the soundtrack for Netflix’s new series “The Get Down.” Today, Janelle Monáe’s contribution to the show, “Hum Along & Dance (Gotta Get Down),” premiered on Ebro Darden’s Beats 1 show. Hear it below.

The soundtrack for “The Get Down” is out August 12, the same day that the Baz Luhrmann-created show streams on Netflix. Nas executive produced the soundtrack; Grandmaster Flash associate produced.
