Listen to LCD Soundsystem’s New Song “Call the Police”

LCD Soundsystem have shared their new song “Call the Police.” It’s one of two new tracks released today from the band’s long-awaited comeback record. (Still no release date on that– see James Murphy’s great new Facebook note for a lengthy explanation as to why.) It was also among the songs that LCD debuted during their residency at Brooklyn Steel. Listen to “Call the Police” below, via BBC Radio. (The other new song is called “American Dream.”) The tracks are LCD’s first releases since announcing their reunion in January 2016. On Christmas Eve 2015, the group put out the track “Christmas Will Break Your Heart.”

LCD will play new music on “Saturday Night Live” this Saturday, May 6. LCD Soundsystem will also headline Pitchfork Music Festival 2017 with A Tribe Called Quest and Solange. The festival takes place in Chicago’s Union Park from July 14–16. Get tickets here.
