Listen to Radiohead’s Previously Unreleased Song “I Promise”

Radiohead have shared “I Promise,” one of the three previously unreleased tracks from their forthcoming OK Computer reissue OKNOTOK. They premiered the track on BBC Radio’s “6 Music Recommends” tonight. Listen below. OKNOTOK marks the 20th anniversary of OK Computerand will feature the remastered album, eight B-sides, as well as the three aforementioned tracks. The other two tracks are titled “Man of War,” and “Lift.” Radiohead recently gave a rare, intimate interview about creating their iconic album. “The paranoia I felt at the time was much more related to how people related to each other,” Thom Yorke explained. “But I was using the terminology of technology to express it.” According to BBC Radio 6 host Steve Lamacq, a source close to the band told him they were “especially pleased to find [I Promise] in the vaults because they thought it’d been lost over the years.”

In March, Pitchfork celebrated the 20th anniversary of OK Computer with a series of features. Revisit them here.
