Listen to Sleater-Kinney/R.E.M. Supergroup Filthy Friends’ New Song “Any Kind of Crowd”

Filthy Friends is a supergroup comprised of Sleater-Kinney’s Corin TuckerR.E.M.’s Peter Buck, Scott McCaughey, Bill Rieflin, and Kurt Bloch. The band recently premiered a new song called “Any Kind of Crowd” on an episode of “The Best Show With Tom Scharpling.” Listen to it here (starting at the 5-minute mark).

“Any Kind of Crowd” will be released as a 7” single, along with a cover of Roxy Music’s “Editions of You,” for this year’s Record Store Day on April 22. It will mark the band’s first release for Kill Rock Stars. Filthy Friends previously shared the anti-Trump song “Despierata” as part of the 30 Days, 30 Songs music series.
