Listen to United Nations’ New Anti-Trump Song “Stairway To Mar-a-Lago”
United Nations, the hardcore band featuring Thursday’s Geoff Rickly, have returned with a new song. It’s called “Stairway to Mar-a-Lago” and it’s available on Bandcamp, with proceeds going to the American Civil Liberties Union and Planned Parenthood. The anti-Trump song includes lyrics like “It blows my mind how these Nazis took the stage and pandered to your deepest fears” and “Dead and cold the Gipper must be rolling in his grave.” Noisey, who premiered the track, point out that Rickly is not the vocalist on this track. “They’ve asked us not to name this anonymous singer,” Noisey wrote.
United Nations’ last album was 2014’s The Next Four Years.
