Lorde Performs “Liability” in a Wedding Dress on “SNL”: Watch

Lorde was the musical guest on last night’s episode of “Saturday Night Live.” Host Scarlett Johansson introduced her performance of her song, “Liability.” Watch Lorde sing the song in a bridal veil, backed by Jack Antonoff on piano, below, and check out her behind-the-scenes tweets about the performance’s set. “Liability” will appear along with “Green Light” on Lorde’s upcoming sophomore album Melodrama, which is out June 16 (via LAVA/Republic). In an interview with Zane Lowe about “Liability,” Lorde said, “I love the song so much and it feels so starkly truthful to me. And I think everyone knows what that’s like, to just feel like a fucking liability.” Lorde also performed “Green Light” and appeared in a sketch where she attempts to sing “Royals.”
