Marvel’s “Jessica Jones” and “Daredevil” Soundtrack Vinyl Announced

The first season soundtracks for the Netflix shows “Marvel’s Jessica Jones” and “Marvel’s Daredevil” will be given a limited edition double LP vinyl release on November 9 via Mondo. “Jessica Jones” features a score composed by Sean Callery, and the show won a 2016 Emmy Award for its “Original Main Title Theme Music.” John Paesano wrote the score for “Daredevil.” The soundtrack for “Jessica Jones” will be pressed onto purple vinyl, and “Daredevil” will be released on red vinyl. The artwork for both releases was done by Matthew Woodson; each features a portrait of the titular character on the front with the show’s villain in the interior gatefold. See what the artwork looks like below. Both releases are limited to 3,000 copies and will be available to order on Wednesday.

A Tribe Called Quest’s Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Adrian Younge scored “Marvel’s Luke Cage.” Their score was also given a vinyl release by Mondo. Earlier this year, Marvel rolled out a series of variant comic book covers that reimagined covers of classic hip hop albums. Jessica Jones was among the heroes chosen for a new cover.
