Massive Attack‘s 3D, aka Robert Del Naja, has composed the original score to an artwork by filmmaker Darren Aronofsky and French artist JR. Displayed in Paris ahead of today’s U.N. Climate Change Conference, “The Standing March” aims to “remind leaders that the world is watching” by projecting images of 500 people’s faces onto the French National Assembly Building. The piece ran from 8 p.m. until 4 a.m. yesterday, with the same times scheduled tonight. More Paris locations will follow.

Over the weekend, Thom Yorke – who discussed the Occupy movement with 3D in 2011 – DJed atop a Greenpeace float during a climate march in London. As previously reported, a petition signed by Yorke, David Bowie, and Björk calls on world leaders to reach a deal at the conference.
