Mastodon Do "The Motherload" on "Letterman"

Remember how Mastodon released that video for “The Motherload” featuring all those twerking women and it caused a minor controversy? Yeah, that’s the song they performed on “The Late Show With David Letterman”. Although the band’s performance never reached the video’s levels of utter insanity, it wasn’t devoid of their usual mischief. Just in time for Halloween, guitarist Brent Hinds donned a faux afro and ’70s getup for the performance and counted in the band on a cowbell. Watch the groovy performance below.
