Merchandise Cancel Tour After Frontman Fractures Jaw

Merchandise have been on tour in support of their new record A Corpse Wired for Sound. Today, the band have announced that they’ve been forced to cancel their remaining dates, which were scheduled to take place on the West Coast and in Europe. In a statement, they write that frontman Carson Cox “lost consciousness” and fell while backstage after a recent show in England. He fractured his jaw and broke several teeth from the fall. Cox is seeing a specialist, and “is expected to make a full recovery,” they write. Merchandise plan to reschedule their concerts for spring 2017.
