Michael C. Hall Performs David Bowie’s "Lazarus" on "Colbert"

David Bowie‘s forthcoming album ★ (pronounced Blackstar) is due January 8 on Iso/RCA. He recently shared the single “Lazarus”, the only song on ★ from Bowie’s off-Broadway play Lazarus. Last night, the play’s star Michael C. Hall (“Dexter”, “Six Feet Under”) did the track on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert”. Bowie was not present for the performance. In addition to “Lazarus”, ★ includes the previously shared title track and “‘Tis a Pity She’s a Whore”. James Murphy plays percussion on two songs.
