Michael Shannon to Perform the Smiths’ The Queen Is Dead in Full

Michael Shannon is best known for his acting work on “Boardwalk Empire”, Revolutionary Road, and Man of Steel. He’s also a musician, and on June 6, he and a band will perform the Smiths‘ classic 1986 album The Queen Is Dead at the Evanston, Ill. venue SPACE. 

The band’s lineup includes Jason Narducy (Bob Mould, Superchunk), Dag Juhlin (Poi Dog Pondering), Gerald Dowd (Robbie Fulks), and Curt Morrison (Tributosaurus). Find more info here.
