Michael Stipe Sings David Bowie’s "The Man Who Sold the World" on "The Tonight Show"

As promised, R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe was the musical guest on last night’s episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Prior to his performances at the forthcoming David Bowie tribute concerts in New York, he sang a minimal, piano-accompanied rendition of “The Man Who Sold the World.” Watch his performance below.
