Missy Elliott, Lil’ Kim, and Da Brat Do “Not Tonight” on The Soul Train Awards

Missy Elliott, Lil’ Kim, and Da Brat teamed up to perform their 1997 hit single “Not Tonight (Remix)” on the Soul Train Awards last night. (The late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes was present via a video. Angie Martinez, who was also on the original track, didn’t perform.) The performance was part of a tribute to Kool & the Gang, whose 1979 single “Ladies’ Night” is sampled on the song. The last time the all-star track was performed was at the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards.
