Morrissey Cancels U.S. Tour Dates

Today, Morrissey has announced on official fan site True to You that the final six shows of his U.S. tour have been cancelled, after previously postponing them in November. In his note, he cites difficulties with the tour’s management company 360 Management (Three Six Zero), who’ve controlled the tour’s finances since August. He says that after the collapse of his keyboardist Gustavo Manzur during a Boulder, Colorado show, Three Six Zero told Morrissey “that all funds had suddenly evaporated.” Soon afterwards, he says “there was apparently not even enough money to transport the touring party to the next scheduled city, and Three Six Zero faded out as quickly as they had faded in.” You can read the entirety of Morrissey’s announcement here.
