My Morning Jacket Release New Song “The First Time” Off “Roadies” Soundtrack: Listen

My Morning Jacket have shared a new song, “The First Time.” It’s taken from the soundtrack for the Showtime original series “Roadies.” Listen to it below via Apple Music. In addition to the band’s soundtrack contribution, frontman Jim James is slated to appear on the show this Sunday, July 17. The “Roadies” Official Soundtrack Album is out August 26 via Republic/Stardog.

Recently, My Morning Jacket also released “Magic Bullet,” a song protesting violence in the wake of the shootings of Alton Sterling, Philando Castile, and multiple Dallas police officers.
