N.E.R.D. Return With New Song “Squeeze Me”, Contribute Music to Upcoming Spongebob Squarepants Movie Soundtrack

Last November, during his headlining set at Odd Future‘s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, Pharrell got back together with his band N.E.R.D to do “Rockstar”. Now, in the wake of Mr. Williams’ wildly successful album G I R L, N.E.R.D. have returned with their first new music since 2010′s Nothing. “Squeeze Me” is one of three songs the band penned for the soundtrack for the upcoming film The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, which hits theatres February 6. Aside from “Squeeze Me”, N.E.R.D. are contributing two tracks titled after Spongebob  characters: “Patrick Star” and “Sandy Squirrel”. Look for those songs in the coming weeks.
