New Kendrick Lamar Project untitled unmastered. Surfaces Online

A new Kendrick Lamar project has surfaced on Spotify. It’s called untitled unmastered. and has eight untitled, dated tracks. There is no specific release date given for the To Pimp a Butterfly follow-up, but it will be out in 2016 via AftermathInterscope, and Top Dawg Entertainment. Check out the tracklist and cover art below. Update (8:03 p.m.): According to the project’s listing on Spotify’s mobile app, untitled unmastered. will be released tomorrow.

Earlier this week, Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony Tiffith hinted at a 2016 Kendrick Lamar release. He then indicated that he would surprise-release a TDE project this week.

Kendrick has performed untitled tracks on “The Colbert Report” and “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” He also performed an unreleased verse at this year’s Grammys ceremony. Following the Grammy performance, LeBron James tweeted at Tiffith that his untitled performances should be collected for an album. Tiffith responded that he needed a few days to think about it. Update (10:38 p.m.): Tiffith has confirmed that Kendrick’s new project is out tonight in the caption for an Instagram video. He also thanks LeBron James for making it happen. Watch the video below.
