Nicolas Jaar Scores Jacques Audiard’s Dheepan

Yesterday, reports emerged that Nicolas Jaar would score Dheepan, an upcoming drama directed by Jacques Audiard (A Prophet, Rust and Bone). Today, Jaar confirmed the reports on Twitter.

According to Film Music Reporter, Dheepan is the story of “a former soldier, a young woman and a little girl who pose as a family to escape the civil war in Sri Lanka and end up settling in a housing project outside Paris.” It premieres at this month’s Cannes Film Festival. 

Jaar recently streamed Nymphs II, his first solo 12″ in four years.
