No Age Cover Black Flag, Gun Club for 7" Box Set
As part of an exhibit curated for the Los Angeles gallery Gallery 1988, a limited 7″ box set called Thirty Three and a Third has been released. It features newer bands covering older songs. Most notably, it features No Age delivering their versions of the Gun Club‘s “Sex Beat” and Black Flag‘s “Six Pack”. Check out their Black Flag cover above, and listen to the entire box here.
The box is limited to 400 copies and was designed and curated by Dana Lechtenberg.
Another 7″ in the box is by Eel Bros, a band featuring Man Man‘s Honus Honus and Hot Karate’s King Cyrus. They cover the Nerves’ “Hanging on the Telephone” (below) and Danzig’s “Blood and Tears”.
