Octave Minds (Boys Noize and Chilly Gonzales) Share Full Video of First Concert
Octave Minds is the new collaborative project between singer/songwriter/pianist/Drake and Daft Punk collaborator Chilly Gonzales and producer Boys Noize. Their self-titled album came out last year, and it featured a guest spot from Chance the Rapper. (Stream the album here.)
On September 3, Octave Minds played their first-ever concert, which took place at Berlin’s Teufelsberg (an abandoned Cold War spy station) as part of the Zeitgeist Symbiosis series. They were accompanied by Kaiser Quartett. It includes music from their debut album, as well as Gonzales’ 2010 album Ivory Tower. Watch the full performance below, via Pitchfork.tv.
