Berlin producer Hendrik Weber, aka Pantha du Prince, has announced his first solo studio album in six years. The Triad follows 2010′s Black Noise, as well as records with Bell Laboratory and Stephan Abry of Workshop. It’s out May 20 on Rough Trade, preceded by the 12″ single “The Winter Hymn” [ft. Queens], which is out today. Below, check out its self-directed video, which features Weber and a shady band of musicians called “The Triad,” including members of Bell Laboratory and Queens.

Black Noise was very much about me being alone in a small room in Berlin and composing,” Weber said in a press release. “The Triad opens the structure to more human ways of interacting, not digitized ways of interacting. It’s not about Facebook; it’s about meeting up and jamming. I wanted to cut through the digital dust that surrounds us.”

“The Winter Hymn” 12″ is backed by “Post Human Palisades” [ft. Bendik & Kassian] and an extended mix of album track “Dream Yourself Awake.”

The Triad:

01 The Winter Hymn [ft. Queens]
02 You What? Euphoria!
03 Frau im Mond, Sterne Laufen
04 In An Open Space [ft. Queens]
05 Chasing Vapour Trails [ft. Joachim Schultz & Kassian von Troyer]
06 Lichterschmaus
07 Dream Yourself Awake
08 Lions Love [ft. Joachim]
09 Islands In The Sky
10 Wallflower for Pale Saints
