Pissed Jeans Announce New Album Why Love Now, Share New Single “The Bar Is Low”: Listen

Pissed Jeans have announced Why Love Now, the follow-up to 2013’s HoneysIt’s out February 24 via Sub PopWhy Love Now was produced by Lydia Lunch and Arthur Rizk (of Sumerlands) and features contributions from author Lindsay Hunter, delivering a “self-penned monologue of W.B. Mason-inspired erotica.” The band have also shared the album’s first single, “The Bar Is Low.” According to vocalist Matt Korvette, the song is about “how every guy seems to be revealing themselves as a shithead.” Stream the track below, and check out the cover art and tracklist, as well as a press photo (by Ebru Yildiz) of the band standing in front of Kurt Vile’s Wakin on a Pretty Daze mural in Philadelphia.
