Pitchfork Announces Britpop Party With LCD Soundsystem’s Tyler Pope, Japanese Breakfast, More

Pitchfork is throwing a release party for our new list of the 50 Best Britpop Albums. Presented by This Is Britain and hosted by Pitchfork Radio’s Elia Einhorn, the party will take place on Friday, March 31 at Brooklyn Bazaar’s Cellar Lounge from 8:00pm to 2:00am. It will feature DJ sets by LCD Soundsystem and Interference Pattern’s Tyler Pope, Japanese Breakfast, Pitchfork editors Stacey Anderson and Jillian Mapes, and Elia Einhorn. The event is free and all ages. (Those under 17 should be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.) All proceeds will be donated to Calton Athletic Recovery Group, a Scottish organization helping fight drug and alcohol addiction.
